Head of AI/ML

Role Overview

Lead the company’s AI/ML strategy and execution to build scalable, business-critical solutions that improve retail personalization, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This role will drive innovation in recommendation engines, demand forecasting, and intelligent automation by translating advanced machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision capabilities into measurable business impact across functions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap aligned with business priorities, with a focus on retail use cases such as recommendation systems, demand forecasting, and customer intelligence.
• Lead the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of end-to-end machine learning solutions from experimentation to production.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI/ML team, setting technical direction, development standards, and a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, operations, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate them into scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Drive model development using advanced techniques in deep learning, NLP, and computer vision to solve complex business problems.
• Establish robust MLOps practices, model governance, and performance monitoring to ensure reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee data strategy and feature engineering efforts to ensure high-quality inputs for model training and inference.
• Communicate AI/ML strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and influence cross-functional decision-making.
