Role Overview
The Technical Program Manager will drive the execution of the CISO/DPO function, ensuring security, privacy, and compliance priorities are translated into clear programs, timelines, and measurable outcomes. This role will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align cyber security, GRC, and compliance initiatives with business goals while maintaining strong accountability across teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the end-to-end execution of the CISO/DPO function, ensuring timely delivery of security and compliance programs.
- Partner with CxOs, leadership teams, and key stakeholders to align priorities, communicate progress, and resolve blockers.
- Prioritize security, compliance, and GRC initiatives based on business risk, regulatory needs, and strategic importance.
- Drive program governance, tracking, reporting, and follow-ups across middle management, EMs, and functional teams under CISO oversight.
- Coordinate cyber security and privacy-related projects to ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, and status updates for multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Support compliance readiness by working closely with teams to close gaps, track remediation, and improve control effectiveness.
- Well versed with AI tools and open to learn new technologies.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Security Program Management, or related roles
- Strong understanding of cyber security, GRC, compliance, and privacy operations
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with senior leadership stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize security initiatives, manage timelines, and drive execution to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage CxO-level leaders
Preferred
- Experience supporting or managing CISO or DPO office functions
- Familiarity with privacy and security regulatory frameworks and audit readiness
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology organization
- Certification in PMP, CISM, CISSP, or related security/program management credentials
- Experience coordinating with middle management and engineering leaders to ensure delivery
