Role Overview
As a Technical Solution Architect - 2 | Commerce India, you will shape and guide the architecture of enterprise-scale commerce solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned to business goals. You will partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to make critical technical decisions, drive solution design excellence, and ensure successful delivery across complex systems and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise commerce initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technology strategy
- Lead technical design discussions and provide architecture guidance for scalable, resilient, and high-performing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate requirements, identify dependencies, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions
- Design integration patterns across applications, APIs, and third-party platforms to enable seamless system interoperability
- Review and influence architecture, code, and infrastructure decisions to ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices
- Assess technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support issue resolution throughout solution delivery and implementation
- Guide cloud and platform architecture decisions with a focus on security, availability, maintainability, and cost effectiveness
- Document solution architectures, technical recommendations, and design decisions for stakeholders and delivery teams
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technical solutions
- Strong background in cloud-based architectures and complex systems integration
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical designs
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience in commerce or e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with modern architecture patterns such as microservices and event-driven systems
- Exposure to architecture governance, design reviews, or technical standards definition
- Experience with high-availability, performance, and security design considerations
- Relevant cloud certifications or architecture certifications
