Role Overview
The FullStack Developer | SDE - 2 will design, build, and maintain scalable storefront applications that deliver seamless and high-performing digital experiences for customers. This role plays a critical part in translating business needs into robust full-stack solutions, improving platform reliability, and accelerating product delivery through strong engineering practices and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end full-stack applications with a strong focus on storefront experiences
- Build responsive, performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern web development practices
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs to support commerce and storefront functionality
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering peers in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver features on time
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience across web platforms
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of development processes
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience building full-stack applications using React and TypeScript
- Strong programming experience in Java and JavaScript
- Experience working with storefront, commerce, or customer-facing web applications
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code quality
Preferred
- Experience in e-commerce or digital storefront platforms
- Familiarity with scalable architecture, microservices, or cloud-based systems
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical discussions
- Knowledge of web performance tuning and accessibility standards
