Role Overview

As an Agentic Software Development Engineer - 2, you will build secure, scalable software solutions that strengthen the company’s engineering platforms while embedding security throughout the development lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, driving VAPT efforts, and delivering high-quality code that supports a resilient and trusted technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components with a strong focus on security and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into robust engineering solutions.
  • Participate in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities and support remediation of identified issues.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and security weaknesses in existing systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, architecture, and development practices.
  • Work closely with peers to ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and security-driven improvements.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, development technologies, and engineering methodologies to continuously improve solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Hands-on experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities
  • Strong programming skills in one or more modern programming languages
  • Experience with debugging, code reviews, and delivering high-quality production code
  • Understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices

Preferred

  • Experience performing or supporting VAPT activities
  • Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or distributed systems
  • Relevant security certifications or training
