Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help build, automate, and maintain reliable development and deployment workflows that enable engineering teams to deliver software faster and with greater confidence. This entry-level role is focused on improving infrastructure efficiency, strengthening system stability, and using Python-driven automation to support scalable operations across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the setup, automation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments
  • Write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine operational tasks and improve deployment workflows
  • Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure availability to identify issues proactively
  • Assist in managing cloud and on-premise environments, including configuration, provisioning, and basic troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve release processes, deployment reliability, and environment consistency
  • Help implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to support operational visibility
  • Document DevOps processes, deployment procedures, and operational best practices for internal teams
  • Participate in incident support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems, or software engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle practices

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Docker or other containerization tools
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
