Art Director
About Fynd
Role Overview
Fynd is a frontier technology company. We started at the intersection of technology and retail because that is where technology was the least available. Over the years, we became one of India’s largest retail technology platforms. But retail was the entry point, not the boundary. Today, Fynd builds intelligent software that runs business operations. Not tools that help people work faster, but systems that absorb entire functions: manufacturing, marketing, logistics, commerce, quality control. We sit inside our customers’ businesses, harvest deep domain context, and build AI systems that operate autonomously. We are expanding from retail into manufacturing, generative media, physical AI, and healthcare. We are looking for an Art Director to lead the creative direction and execution of Fynd's visual communication. This role will guide the Graphic Design team, translate business and brand goals into strong creative concepts, and ensure every output meets a high standard of craft and consistency. The Art Director will work closely with marketing, content, product, business, and leadership teams to deliver work that is clear, distinctive, and effective.
Responsibilities
- Set the creative direction for brand campaigns, product launches, social media, events, presentations, employer branding, and other key communication initiatives.

- Lead projects from concept development through final delivery, including visual exploration, reviews, feedback, and quality checks.
- Guide graphic designers on typography, layout, colour, illustration, imagery, motion, and overall visual storytelling.
- Review creative work and give specific, constructive feedback that improves both the idea and the execution.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines so that communication remains consistent across teams, formats, and channels.
- Partner with copywriters, marketers, product designers, photographers, filmmakers, agencies, and external vendors when required.
- Manage multiple priorities and timelines while protecting creative quality and meeting delivery commitments.
- Use AI-assisted creative tools thoughtfully for ideation, exploration, rapid prototyping, image generation, and production workflows.
- Present concepts and creative rationale to senior stakeholders, respond to feedback, and build alignment on the final direction.
- Support team planning, allocate work based on skills and capacity, and identify opportunities to improve the design process.
- Mentor designers, strengthen their craft, and help build a collaborative and accountable creative culture.
