Revenue Architect | Fynd Store OS
About Fynd
Role Overview
The Revenue Architect for Fynd Store OS defines how the platform is priced, packaged, and scoped to drive profitable growth while ensuring strong customer value. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and delivery, translating client needs into commercially viable proposals, aligned roadmaps, and feasible delivery commitments that support both revenue realization and long-term product scalability. About Fynd and Store OS Fynd is a frontier technology company. We started at the intersection of technology and retail because that is where technology was the least available. Over the years, we became one of India’s largest retail technology platforms. But retail was the entry point, not the boundary. Today, Fynd builds intelligent software that runs business operations. Not tools that help people work faster, but systems that absorb entire functions: manufacturing, marketing, logistics, commerce, quality control. We sit inside our customers’ businesses, harvest deep domain context, and build AI systems that operate autonomously. We are expanding from retail into manufacturing, generative media, physical AI, and healthcare. About Store OS: Store OS is Fynd’s in-store platform, a multi-tenant point-of-sale (POS) and store-experience suite running across thousands of stores and hundreds of brands in India, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Southeast Asia and the UK. It spans billing, clienteling, campaigns, endless aisle, task management.
Responsibilities
- Store OS has outgrown deal-by-deal selling. As modules, markets and deal sizes grow, proposals risk being rebuilt from scratch, scope gets promised ahead of the product, and delivery dates are set before anyone has sized the work.
- This role closes that gap. You will finalise what we sign: the scope, how it maps to the roadmap, the tentative effort and the delivery timeline, agreed with product and engineering before a contract goes out.
- You will be client-facing. You will sit with brand and retail leaders to shape scope, explain what is live and what is coming, and negotiate phasing and commercials. Internally, you will connect product, sales, implementation and finance, and own the commercial and delivery logic that holds a deal together
- Scope, Roadmap and Delivery (Core of the Role)
- Finalise the scope of every deal before signing: what is live, what is on the roadmap, what needs custom work and what is out
- Map each committed feature to the roadmap and agree its timing with product and engineeringEstimate tentative effort and set realistic delivery timelines for implementation, integrations and roadmap items
- Resolve gaps before the deal closes: descope, phase it, price it as custom work, or walk away
- Maintain a single source of truth for feature availability by module, market and tier
- Track signed commitments after closing so delivery, implementation and the roadmap stay in step
- Feed patterns from deals back into roadmap prioritisation, with the revenue attached to each ask
- Client Engagement
- Lead scope, roadmap and commercial conversations with brand and retail leaders, from discovery to signing
- Explain what is live, what is coming and when, without over-promising
- Negotiate phasing, timelines and commercials, and own the proposal and statement of work (SOW) that come out of it
- Stay close to key accounts after signing so commitments made in the sale are met
- Pricing and Packaging
- Build and maintain the Store OS price book across modules, tiers and markets (INR, AED, SAR, IDR, GBP and others)
- Design bundles and editions that match how retailers actually buy: per store, per terminal, per module, usage-based or hybrid
- Define clearly what is standard, what is chargeable and what is custom, including implementation, integrations and hardware pass-through
- Deal Architecture
- Structure commercials for complex and enterprise deals, including multi-brand groups, franchise networks and phased rollouts
- Own the scope, timeline and commercial response to requests for proposal and quotation (RFPs and RFQs), working with presales and product
- Set discount guardrails, approval matrices and standard terms (ramp pricing, pilots, minimum commitments, renewals)
- Revenue Model and Forecasting
- Own the Store OS revenue model: annual recurring revenue (ARR), bookings, implementation revenue and collections
- Build the pipeline-to-revenue forecast and run the monthly revenue review with the Product Lead and finance
- Track unit economics per account: implementation cost, support load, gross margin and payback
- Expansion and Retention
- Design upsell and cross-sell paths from core POS into clienteling, task management, radio-frequency identification (RFID) and other modules
- Work with customer success on renewal pricing, churn signals and at-risk accounts
- Enablement and Tooling
- Create proposal templates, return on investment (ROI) calculators and pricing calculators that sales can use without escalation
