About Fynd
Fynd is a frontier technology company. We started at the intersection of technology and retail because that is where technology was the least available. Over the years, we became one of India’s largest retail technology platforms. But retail was the entry point, not the boundary.
Today, Fynd builds intelligent software that runs business operations. Not tools that help people work faster, but systems that absorb entire functions: manufacturing, marketing, logistics, commerce, quality control. We sit inside our customers’ businesses, harvest deep domain context, and build AI systems that operate autonomously. We are expanding from retail into manufacturing, generative media, physical AI, and healthcare.
Role Overview
The Forward Deployed Architect turns complex customer business challenges into practical, scalable solutions that can be rapidly designed, validated, and deployed in enterprise environments. This role partners directly with customers and internal teams to shape architecture, lead technical discovery, build prototypes, and ensure successful deployment of cloud, data, and AI-driven systems with clear accountability for outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand business problems, current-state systems, constraints, and success criteria.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures that translate customer needs into deployable, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate feasibility, reduce risk, and accelerate solution adoption.
- Create integration plans across APIs, cloud platforms, data sources, and enterprise systems to ensure technical fit and interoperability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and delivery teams to refine requirements and align architecture with implementation realities.
- Advise customers on architecture decisions, deployment patterns, data flows, and operational considerations for production readiness.
- Own technical accountability for enterprise deployments, including readiness reviews, issue resolution, and post-deployment support.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and confidence.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in architecture, solution engineering, consulting, or related technical delivery roles
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud, data, or AI solutions
- Hands-on ability to lead technical discovery, create integration plans, and develop rapid prototypes
- Proven experience working directly with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver deployable solutions
Preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise deployments in a customer-facing role
- Background in AI/ML, data platforms, or modern cloud ecosystems
- Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and modern API architectures
- Experience in pre-sales, forward-deployed, or consultative technical roles
